Aggression Management

We specialize in aggression management and have a particular passion for rehabilitating these dogs. Without our intervention, some of our clients’ dogs may otherwise have been surrendered, or worse, possibly even euthanized.  We work with, successfully train, and rehabilitate dogs who have a history of aggression, such as:

  • Sibling aggression
  • Fear aggression (loud noises, strangers, sudden movements, etc.)
  • Resource guarding (the dog become overprotective of food, toys, locations, etc.)
  • Leash reactivity (the dog reacts aggressively to other dogs or stimulants while on the leash)
  • The will to dominate (a dog wishes to prove he/she is the alpha dog)

Our Aggression Management program is designed for owners who are experiencing intense dog and/or human aggression.  Our Aggression Management training programs are tailored to fit the need of each of our clients.  In this program, we will teach you to recognize warning signs and techniques to communicate with your dog. We will provide ongoing support/training for as long as you continue to work with your pet.  The program includes:

  • A dedicated personal trainer
  • Unlimited lessons customized to your individual needs
  • Access to free group classes
  • Unlimited phone support
  • Personal login to our training site/app with ancillary resources (coming soon)

In-Home Aggression Management Dog Training

Our trainers will find the root cause of your dog’s behavior and work to address it. During the in-home consultation, we’ll get to know you and your dog and determine the type of aggression you are facing.

Board & Train – Intense Aggression Behavior Modification

The Board and Train – Intense Aggression Behavior Modification program is designed for dogs whose severe aggression has rendered in-home aggression management training unfeasible or impractical.  The program includes: 

  • Six weeks of training with boarding at a trainer’s home or boarding facility (owner provides food, bed, toys, etc.) 
  • Two 2-hour individual training sessions in your home, immediately after boarding and again two weeks later 
  • 6-foot Latigo Leather Leash 
  • Training collar
