Aggression Management & Behavior Modification

Aggression Management

Real Solutions. Safer Homes. Better Relationships.

At Lone Star K9 Companion Training, we specialize in identifying the root cause of your dog’s aggressive or unwanted behavior—and creating a custom training plan to bring structure, clarity, and calm back into your home.

Whether your dog shows signs of fear, anxiety, territorial behavior, reactivity, or true aggression, we have the tools and experience to help you move forward with confidence.

What We Address:

  • Dog-to-Dog Aggression
Reactivity on leash, fights at home, or aggression at the dog park
  • Human-Directed Aggression
Growling, snapping, lunging, or biting at family, guests, or strangers
  • Resource Guarding
Possessive behavior over food, toys, space, or people
  • Fear-Based or Anxiety-Driven Behavior
Nervousness that escalates to reactive or defensive responses
  • Barrier & Territorial Aggression
Lunging at fences, windows, or when guests enter the home

Our Approach: Balanced & Real-World

We use a balanced training approach rooted in structure, clear communication, and real-world scenarios—not just theory.

In-Home Evaluation – Every case starts with a 1-on-1 consult in your home or neutral environment
Clear Communication Tools – E-collars, prongs, muzzles (if needed), and calm leadership
Personalized Training Plan – Tailored to your dog’s triggers, thresholds, and your goals
Handler Coaching – We train you to be the consistent, confident leader your dog needs
Ongoing Support – Continued sessions and optional group work to reinforce progress

Safety Comes First

We take all aggression cases seriously and ethically. Not every aggressive dog is a lost cause—and not every behavior requires surrender or euthanasia. With the right guidance, you and your dog can find a path forward.

Muzzle conditioning may be required for safety.
