Behavior Modification & Aggressive Management
At Lone Star K9, we specialize in aggression management and are passionate about rehabilitating aggressive dogs. Without our intervention, many of these dogs might have been surrendered or even euthanized. Our expert trainers teach dogs to make better decisions, successfully working with and rehabilitating dogs with a history of aggression, including:
- Sibling Aggression
- Fear Aggression (triggered by loud noises, strangers, sudden movements, etc.)
- Resource Guarding (overprotectiveness of food, toys, locations, etc.)
- Leash Reactivity (aggression towards other dogs or stimuli while on the leash)
- Dominance Issues (asserting alpha status)

Board and Train
Our Board and Train program offers intensive, four-week training tailored to your dog’s specific needs. During this time, your dog will stay with us in one of our indoor pet suites and enjoy our 40×60 turf area for play and training. We treat your pup like one of our own, ensuring they are comfortable and happy. After training, we provide in-home sessions or facility-based training to teach you what your dog has learned and ensure you understand the training process. Group Classes
